I'll be on the lookout for this one.
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
Merveilleux! I'd also recommend the Zig Zag album on Vapeur Mauve. Reminds me of Potemkine.
Zeuhl is de Hündin!
Sounds great and is going straight to the shopping list!
Who did not notice there is also a (archival) LP out by Xalph
(also a 70s - 80s Zeuhl band)
Discussing with the label owners (sorry in French)...

The CD will hold different 45 minutes of music (one sole track) than the vinyl.

Hello I'm Chris from VAPEUR MAUVE PRODUCTION.
I've received the Test Press from the EVOHE record and I've validated it .
Normally The press will be ready about in a month
Just checking this out, awesome! Not a huge Zeuhl fan when it has vocals, but this stuff is great! Will definitely be on the lookout for the CD.

Looking for information. So I bought the LP on Music Research Library (USA). It's a single sleeve, with no CD. The short sheet inside talks about the album being traded via tape dub back in the day, and this sounds like one of those tapes.
And we learn from here that Vapeur Mauve released it as a gatefold LP + a CD. How does it sound? Is the music on the CD significantly different? What is the relationship between the 2 labels? Did MRL license from VM or the band separately - or something else?

Just ordered the LP without the CD (from Laser's Edge). Also curious about the mega-version of K'A, but not enough to hunt down the pricier French LP+CD release.
Just received this in the post this morning. Haven't heard a note yet, but basically the LP has a track called "Sharga" (16mn) on one side, and the short version of "K'A" (18mn) on the other. The CD has the long version (43mn) of "K'A". Don't really get why they didn't include "Sharga" as well, but then I don't get the whole vinyl revival at all anyway (apart from the cool large sleeves).

Don't see any such thing. It's a very sparse package, with no recording credits or date, just the musicians line-up, plus scans of old press articles. There is much more info on the band's website : http://evohe.eu/evohe/

I'll probably order it this week, along with the Zig Zag album (which also come with a CD)
See the Rock 60/70 thread in the label section of forum... He answered me six months ago that it was a pure choice (rational for him, irrational for the rest of the planet)
They've really got limited means... but the thing is that if they pressed CD instead of vinyls (which would cost them a whole lot less), they'd have the money to do a better job (mre complete anyways) for the sleeves & credit

Agreed!
Still looking for answers about the US release. Good info about the French copy though (still curious about the CD and the overall sound of both the CD & LP). And believe me, all the shortcomings of the French release are even more so on the US one. Not complaining, just the facts.
I was willing to pay for the extra mp3 download but the site doesn’t say what’s in it, and it wasn’t working yet last time I checked.
