Help anyone - unable to embed youtube clips into my pots

I am using mac and chrome and I can't understan why I am unable to embed youtube clips into my pots
I am pretty sure I am doing the right procedure ie

Have you tried [ YT ] https:/ .... [ /YT ] without the gaps?

The shortened URL, youtu.be instead of youtube.com, probably doesn't work to embed videos.

Use the film strip icon, next to the picture of a tree. Just copy/paste the URL into it.

Try to just post http instead of https. Works for me.
