Notifications in Group Messages

Why do I get notifications of posts in Group Messages for Groups of which I don't belong?

I've noticed this too and while it's a small thing, it's kind of annoying. Now if it was for the NSFW group it'd be OK but it's not.

Are you subscribed to the group? That's when I get notified
