Anyone going to this?
Would love to but I've already got one international festival trip planned (SZ & RIO)
I saw Here & Now about 10 years ago in a tiny pub literally 100 yards from my house. I had no idea who they were. They were great and I bought a couple of CD's.

I saw them last at the Gong Uncon, yep, they were good. Looking forward to Girlschool, I saw them in Germany in the early 80s! Krel should be fun as well.
Wish I could be there...just way beyond my budget at the moment. Enjoy! And take plenty of pics.

Whadda blast this was!
1375
Two nights of HawkEaster, which included the complete Warrior album. Mostly new stuff before, and some big hits like Damnation Alley, Silver Machine, Spirit of the Age. Band were augmented with the sax player from Hipiersonik and Dead Fred on keyboards/violin. Two beautiful dancers as well!
Other highlights were Krankschaft with Steve Pond and Dead Fred, Hipiersonik from Poland, Krel, Mugstar (kinda retro psych band (EXCELLENT), Here & Now band (with a bunch of new members, still awesome), Electric Wizard who got booted off stage because they were too loud/offensive images!!!!, and of course T.O.S.H. - Technicians of Space Hawkwind - who played a lot of really early stuff (like Paranoia, Golden Void).
Girlschool cancelled btw.
Question time both nights, wonderful town of Seaton, plenty of Otter Bitter, and I have to thank everyone from the Seaton Town Hall who ran the kidszone, my girls had a blast!

Great pics! Really jealous of your trip. :) Surprised that Electric Wizard were booted (was a huge fan of them years ago)...were there homes nearby that would necessitate a noise ordinance? They were always very loud/heavy but Hawkwind aren't exactly easy listening...

Yeah, the promoter told me that they had their amps all the up - turning the board off didn't even make a diff, I'm sure that the Seaton Town Council wasn't too happy with the imagery that EW was showing. After all, it was an all-ages event... or so that's what was being said!
One thing about EW - the drummer had the biggest friggin cymbals I've ever scene in my life!!! Crazzeeee.
