I was just looking for some of the Klaus Schulze remasters on Amazon, and they seem to only have the mp3's available, with the CD's going for the usual outrageous prices every out of print title goes for. What gives?!

Yes, a lot of the titles on the Revisited label are not in print any more.

Hmm, didn't know that. Is this a temporary thing or are they "gone for good" or what? And should I be considered about other titles, say the La Vie Electronique releases going out of print?

The early LVE's were on Revisited I think, so perhaps yes. The later ones are on MiG, I guess they shouldn't be a problem. I'm hoping MiG will reprint the Revisited titles, because I'm missing a few Klaus remasters, too.

Klaus should go full circle and reissue all the LVEs in a massive box set. :cool

I don't know, but this is not exactly salad days for physical releases....

yeah, you're right about that. I guess we should be thankful anything gets a physical release. I just wish that when they offer mp3 downloads, they'd at least include jpgs or a pdf or whatever the liner notes, photos, etc that are in the physical release. That's actually half the fun with Klaus, seeing all those photos of him back in the day with his old analog synth gear.

I didn't get too many of those remasters because I already have a lifetimes worth of Klaus. I miss out on 20-60 minutes here or there but I have so many other releases. Almost every KS title. But I do hope for other his core catalog will go back into print

I missed Mirage, and would love to it see back in print.

Boarder reaction: A shame for sure.
