I found a new album cover that has some similarities with the album cover that started this forum topic.
New release by Dante - Prog Rock Band from Germany.
It's not the same of course but there are many similarities, the bum half showing number one
Here have a look and check the difference, first on the left is Dante, 2nd is Corvus Stone's II album cover, 3rd CD Disk followed by cd layer (cd holder).

Dante obviously is a real person while Corvus Stone's is just an imagination, the person behind the mask etc is just a painting.
That Dante cover is nice. Feel free to post as many bum covers as you like, Sonia!
BTW, I just found out last weekend that Corvus means Raven. I met a very nice Corvus - he would mimic things you said to him.
Sonia, you mentioned the Dante cover. I can't stop looking at it! Here it is:
It's just some very nice graphic design. Yeah, that's it... Hopefully she's taking those off and not putting them on...

I love the human anatomy, this is something that interests me, the shape the form to paint. Athletes have broader shoulders, all men have wider shoulders compared to the rest of their torso, a lot of women athletes have wider shoulders compared to their hips too.
Totally OT, but whatever.
You made me think of something that happened way BITD in high school.
I can't remember the class but if I looked I could get that, no matter, but I do remember the room itself. There were two Mormons, guy and a girl, and they were into each other if not bf and gf. I sat two aisles over from them and watched them repeatedly exchange these albums and one of the reasons this stands out is the album names. Almost as original as the first four Led Zeppelin albums were Zapp, Zapp II, Zapp III etc. I still to this day have no idea about Zapp but I thought it odd that these Mormons were listening to what I thought would be either '70's R&B or '80's, um whatever.
I just thought that particular religion would frown upon that but at the time I knew nothing about LDS except they were almost all white.
Anyway, somehow the guy ended up sitting next to me one day and I had my Iron Maiden # of the Beast shirt on and he told me, matter of factly, that listening to NOTB backwards would summon a demon.
I'm pretty sure I actually paid attention in class and didn't reply because there really was nothing I could have said.
I'm positive I don't ever care to hear Zapp but someday when I get a turntable I may play NOTB backwards and see what happens. Maybe I can summon the Flying Spaghetti Monster or some such.

Now that I've read the thread, I have to add Sonia, cool stuff. I don't get art, even after a couple of years of attempting to digest Rick Steve's Europe which is a travel guide who focuses a lot on the art in Europe.
Anyway, I may not understand it but I dig it just because it's odd. I have learned something as my first thought was a homage to Bosch(no, I'm not going to try and spell his first name) but then realized I was wrong as it was a mask. I don't get how people can make pictures from some colors with a brush but hey, am I supposed to? Heck, for me art is rock album covers, as they are what adorn my room. Who would want some boring water lilies from Monet when I can have Deep Purple and Iron Maiden picture discs on the wall? I also just bought a frame and put Rainbow's Rising in it. Gonna buy more when the money permits.
Last thought is there's a cool restaurant here, Rock'Noodles. Some pretty damned good food, odd pasta dishes for the most part(the Asian wings are killer) and they have around a hundred album covers displayed on the wall. Pretty much all is represented and it's really cool to go in there and wait for the food while tripping on all the different art styles in those covers. Not like I understand any of it but I can clearly see one is different from the next. Not unlike architecture. I may not understand exactly the styles and all that but I can see the differences and I do get to see some outrageous houses being a pizza delivery guy. I deliver to some of the rich old houses here, the old money of this town, like Jerry Lewis(never met him but his family is real nice) and the architecture is just another form of art.
This was supposed to be short. I guess I can't not be verbose.

I think if you play their stuff backwards, you summon Lionel Ritchie.
I used to work with a guy who was a recently Born-Again Christian. He was also wound so tight that it seemed he'd definitely snap one day - don't know if he did. Anyway, one day he was sitting at my desk because we were working on something together, and he noticed a postcard I had pinned on the cubicle wall, with the artwork from the cover of Marillion's "Brave" album. He said to me "That's evil!" I just sort of looked at him, and he said "You're going to hell."
This was in NYC, the guy was young, it was a financial firm and this guy was the guy who went to trade shows and demoed the company's financial applications. Pretty damned weird, IMO. Yeah, she looks depressed or whatever, but does this look that evil?
JKL, I thought the whole IM thing was a bit too much but you may have me beat. Someone thinks that image is evil, well, at least IM had Eddie and the devil on the cover.
Sputnik, thanks but no thanks. After all these years, I just do not want to know.
