I hope I get the chance to see it before this new sequel comes out.
The only reason I watched it first run was I heard Patton Oswalt was in it. Turns out he was only in a few episodes, but the show was good enough to stick around.

I cannot say enough good things about Justified. I have heard some say it's too violent but that's kind of hard-baked into the DNA of this type of drama. The long plot arcs are really well done, the actors are simply great, and the writers really captured that Elmore Leonard-inspired dialog. The only show of its type where half the YT clips seem to be either really violent scenes or just a few characters talking. Of course, if it is a scene with Boyd Crowder (Walter Goggins) all bets are off on which way the video will go. The series ending was utterly unpredictable and totally satisfying.

100% some of the greatest dialogue I've ever heard. The Rayland/Boyd scenes were hypnotizing!

On my list. Good to hear your liking it.

Watch the season finales of Yellowjackets last night and based on how the story played out.... they were banking on a 2nd season. Nothing significant was resolved while new mysteries were introduced.

I'm having a hard time getting into it but only watch 1.5 episodes. Is it worth exploring further?

It is a f’up chick flick. If you can tolerate some of that it is IMHO a really good show.

Yes it is. Ep. 1 was weak, but once the plane crashes things pick up.

^^^^ Thanks for the feedback on Yellowjackets. I'll keep on it and see what happens.

Thanks. I'll have to put that on my watch list.

I can confirm all six seasons are on Hulu. Currently, it's $13/month. If it takes you two months to stream all six seasons, that's still cheaper than spending $35 on the DVDs. The Blu-Rays, btw, are over $100.

I can also confirm that all six seasons are at the Kalamazoo public library. You're welcome.

I often take advantage of DVDs & Blu-Rays at the library; saves a ton of money if something's not available to stream or if you don't have a particular subscription. The only downside is that sometimes a disc may be dirty or have a scratch. If it's dirty, it's easy to clean with a microfiber cloth and a little moisture (I'll breathe on it). If it's scratched, you may need a disc repair tool. I still have one from the days of getting DVDs from stores like Blockbuster. But I've only had to use it once or twice.

Halfway through Dexter: New Blood now (I skipped over the spoiler comments earlier in the thread) and it's much better than I expected. I still can't stand Deb though, who for my tastes is one of the worst actresses I've ever seen on such a major show.

I never even thought about the Library angle, but thanks for the head up. I am actually a member of the Portage Library (suburb of Kalamazoo where I live), but I will have to check into that.

Regarding Hulu, that would be cheaper than renting it on Amazon Prime too.

I kind of get that. She is rather one dimensional. It must have made for an interesting dynamic for the season since the Hall and Carpenter are now divorced.

Just subscribed to Paramount+ a couple weeks ago and have been watching Star Trek Discovery. Almost done with season one and enjoying it for the most part. Hilarious that they have a character named Paul Stamets.

We just finished season 2 of Succession on HBO Max. Ready to start season 3 on regular HBO now. I'm absolutely hooked and the theme song is an earworm in my head.

Prepare for another immensely gripping season. Some of the best acting, writing, and direction I've ever seen in a series. And yes, the entire score by Nicholas Britell is excellent.

I watched first 4 episodes thus far. It keeps you intrigued but I found it also disjointed as far as what the focus of the show may be.
What I mean is that after 4 episodes I am still not sure whether the show focus is paranormal, psychological, cult/ religious or supernatural.

Anyway as I said it is worthwhile show

Furthermore, the music used in the show is right from our ballpark.
