It is always interesting how people view things differently. For me "Queens Gambit" ranks up with one of the best limited series ever in the history of television.
She-who-must-be-obeyed turned me onto From. Am liking it very much. Reminds me of an Outer Limits episode in which a number of people are trapped in an old house and can't or won't leave. I hear that From is made by the same folks that made Lost. I didn't watch that show, but from what I've heard about how it ended, I hope the same thing isn't in store for From.

Never even heard of this one, but sounds right up my alley. I was as big a LOST fan as there was, but looking at the credits not seeing a connection outside of lead actor Harlod Perrineau, but the premise looks interesting. May have to check this one out.

I'm pretty amazed no one's mentioned Squid Game, yet. Other than the last 15 seconds, I really liked it.
As for the shows already mentioned, I've seen and enjoyed (to some degree) most. Of those I haven't, these show promise to me:
Travelers - watched E1 last night and enjoyed it enough to watch more
From - read the synopsis on Epix the other day but passed; will have to check it out, now
Midnight Mass - read about it awhile back and the premise reminded me of some movie I didn't like so I passed on it; apparently, I was hasty; it helps that it's a miniseries
I'm ambivalent about Mr. Mercedes

Condor (Epix) - great update to the classic spy novel & movie, Six(Three) Days of the Condor
Dead to Me - Linda Cardellini... say no more; fortunately, it's also a great show
Letterkenny - soooo funny

Good Omens
Preacher - probably the most outrageous show in TV history, it's offbeat and weird like Brand New Cherry Flavor, only more so
Rick & Morty - actually, S1 was in 2013 but S5 was last year and S6 is due this year(?), so it qualifies; this might be my favorite show of the past decade
Santa Clarita Diet - so disappointed it got cancelled

I've seen women "date down" before, but I don't think this is the case. Colin is an intelligent, nice guy with a great sense of humor, the three things most women look for in a guy.

After checking out the trailer apparently it is done by the executive producers of LOST. I love the trailer so will need to check this out for sure.

I liked Squid Game, and really liked the whole idea and tone of it, but I don't think it stacks up against the other shows I (and others) listed

Of the shows I have watched in the last year another one that really stuck out for me would be "The Boys". I really really really dug that one. New season coming sometime this year too. I also really enjoyed the limited series "Mare Of Eastown" on HBO.
We also have the final season of "Better Call Saul" to look forward to this year.
I thought it was real good. A nice creepy, claustrophobic atmosphere.

Arcane or Arcane: League of Legends streams on Netflix and is animated. It's fantasy done really well, though I didn't know anything about the cannon or where it came from, etc. It comes from the League of Legends video game. The delicate balance between the rich city of Piltover and the seedy underbelly of Zaun. Tensions between these city-states boil over with the creation of hextech a way for any person to control magical energy in Piltover.
I've read some awesome reviews of Arcane on some geek/nerd sites. I gotta try it sometime.
I've been watching the animated Vox Machina on Prime Video which kind of scratches a D&D itch but only so much.

The wife and I just finished “Inventing Anna” on Netflix. It was a decent enough watch. Not great, but not terrible either. The show is 9 episodes long. The story probably could have been told in about 5 or 6. Julia Garner (from Ozark) plays Anna and has gotten quite a bit of flack on the net for her accent, but when you compare it to the real-life Anna I thought she got it pretty close. The story is accurate for the most part. I liked it, but didn’t love it.
John Oliver is brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed his stint as Daily Show guest host, when Jon Stewart took the summer off to direct a movie.
