Part of me moves on.
The ending of the 1st and whole 2nd episode of the latest season of From were great. Really brought me back into it for now.

I enjoy From, too. I take it you've seen the episode where [potential spoiler ->] Kenny's mom gets killed. That really surprised me.

I got a question for all youse: do you find that since bingeing has become a thing, when you have to wait a week to see an episode, you sometimes forget about it?
That's happened to me on numerous occasions. A couple weeks ago, I completely forget about The Rings of Power. And I had completely forgotten the new episode of From was showing today until Klonk posted about it. (thanks, dude!)

Found a series called Hammer House of Horror on Prime. First episode was cheesey but hey, it started off with some nudity so there's some redeeming value.

I tried the new series Grotesquerie but I couldn't make it through the first episode as I couldn't stand the lead actress. In reading about her online, it seems she's quite beloved, but, well... not by me.
I also did my first ever binge re-watch of The Sopranos since it first aired all those years ago. Those first few seasons still hold up really well, and like Oz before it, were groundbreaking. But the last couple really pale in comparison, which was more noticeable this time around watching it all in such quick succession. They really did re-hash a lot of ideas, just with new faces. I also think it would have benefitted from Tony actually learning something from his therapy, which he never really did. Either way, that was a whole lotta mob stuff to cram in like that; I doubt I'll ever watch it again. As much as I love some of the actors (Michael Imperioli and Edie Falco are just excellent), and as fun as it is to imitate them and say their classic lines, we're talking about some pretty awful people, with only Dr. Melfi and perhaps Charmaine Bucco as having any kind of true goodness or morality. And of course the ending was just as disappointing the second time around. Sorry, but I don't go for the 'it could mean anything' nonsense. Wrap it up properly, Chase! That was 86 episodes leading up to nothing (Trivia: James Gandolfini and Lorraine Bracco watched the premiere of the finale together as it aired, and Gandolfini turned to her and said 'That's IT?!') My other complaint is the same one I had the first time around: Little Stevie Van Zandt was painful to watch. Like someone doing an Italian 'mob guy' caricature for laughs. In fairness, he's not an actor. But you'd think he would have improved somewhat as time went on. He didn't, and stuck out like a sore thumb among those others. Even Tony Sirico was far better, and he was just being himself on screen! However, I did get to enjoy several storylines I had kind of forgotten, and the number of actors I spotted from other things was off the charts. I also got to enjoy seeing Anabella Sciorra again, who is not only an excellent actor, but gorgeous beyond belief.
P.S.: I fast-forwarded most of Janice's scenes. Hated her then, still do.

Tried 2 episodes of "Kevin Can F**K Himself". The first episode was "what the heck is this crap", but the second episode make it clear what was going to happen, albeit slowly. There is a season 2 so I'm expecting episode 3 and onward to really bring it together.

Finished Tales of the Apocalypse on Prime. I enjoyed it tho it's low budget, sort of like reading SF short stories. The stories vary in interest, but I enjoyed some of the visuals and soundtracks to each. About 37 minutes in there was a story about a woman living in the apocalypse, and ventures outside to confront aliens? or something, good soundtrack or incidental music/ sounds whatever it's called.
Three eps into The Penguin on Max. Holy shit! So far, it is superb! This has got Emmy written all over it for Farrell. Just an incredible performance.

The way they take the comic out of the character is great. Same treatment the latest Batman and Joker (well the first one, anyway) received. The Penguine is basically a gritty mob story. Good stuff.

Has anyone been watching the new 50th anniversary season of Saturday Night Live this fall? 3 episodes in and they are having one of their better years IMO. Every show has had past alumni come back to play characters in the show. They have also been knocking it out of the park with the political / election stuff with Myah Rudolf playing Kamala, James Austin Johnson as Trump, Jim Gaffigan as Harris, a barley recognizable Bowen Yang as JD Vance, Andy Sanburg as Kamala's husband and a hilarious Dana Carvey as Joe Biden. Weekend update has been consistently great and they have good hosts so far. Of course, not all of their sketches work and some are downright bad, but so far I have been enjoying this season.
^^ Colin Jost is proving to be one of the better head writers. Improving not only the quality of the writing, but weekend updates as well.

Agree, Jost is a very smart talented guy. I read his autobiography recently. He was a cum laude graduate from Harvard and ran the Havard Lampoon while there which has produced some great comedy writers over the years. He and Che have a great chemistry with Weekend Update too.
Vikings Valhalla Seasons 1-3 - Netflix: After watching and enjoying Vikings we decided to keep going with the sequel which takes place around 100 years after the original show. The plot centers around 3 main true historical characters, Lief Erikson, Freydis Ericesdottir and Harold Sigurdsson whose histories are well documented. I did not think Valhalla was quite as good as the original show, but it kept us entertained and I enjoyed it for the most part. The cast were all solid and the writing done well. It appeared to not quite have the budget of the original show, but all the action and fight scenes were done well and sets were quality. I am not sure if this show got cancelled sooner than expected or what, but the final season seemed really rushed especially towards the end. Characters travel great distances in the blink of an eye and character arcs that have building over the course of the show are over in a flash. It also ends before Erikson reaches America and at the very beginning of Sigerson’s rule. It just seemed there was at least another season of story to tell, but apparently that was not in the cards. Overall, I enjoyed it though.
