anyone watching Y: The Last Man per F/X on HULU?

The reviews have been mixed at best, but as a fan of the Graphic Novel series, I had pretty hopes after waiting for it for so many years.
The initial 1st 3 episodes they put I found a little underwhelming, however I thought last week's episode finally got more into the heart of the story. I haven't watched the episode uploaded this morning yet, but plan to tonight.

I'm also of the belief, even if this show doesn't pan out so well, Im intrigued by the other Brian K Vaughan live-action adaptations, Ex-Machina and Paper Girls which I guess are both slotted to feature-length movies at this point.

    also some intriguing trailers

Cobra Kai Season 4 Trailer: I only just starting watching this show and finished Season 1 a few weeks ago. But I hopefully will be caught up once Season 4 comes in late December.

Is this different from the Oscar Isaac Ex Machina film?

Did anyone bring up Squid Games a Korean series on Netflix. Graphic and intense, gritty and visceral, and while following loosely the Hunger Games trope, it is done so cleverly that it's, imho, one of the best shows on tv at the moment.

Queens Gambit. Discussed I'm sure . Just finished and I thought it was very good. Engaging stories and actors. Satisfying ending. Excellent production. Worthy of all the hype.

Daughter is watching and recommended to me. Says it's sorta like Black Mirror.

I am still working through Bosch, which I am loving.

We just finished "Clickbait" on Netflix last night. It kept my interest, and I enjoyed it, although it went a bit off the rails at the end. Still worth watching though.

although I was wrong, it's a series, not film.

Anyone watch the debut of "La Brea" tonight? Can't say I was blown away. It seems like yet another show trying to capture the magic of "LOST", but not quite getting it. I may give it another episode to grow on me, but we'll see.......

Perfect timing as I just finished Squid Game which was fantastic! I needed a new show and Clickbait was on the list.

Ah crap. Just finished episode 3 last night ( I can't binge...my peabrain shuts down after 2 episodes of anything ) and so far I'm lovin' it. Hope it is different for me...

Watched Nine Perfect Strangers with Nicole Kidmen and an ensemble cast. It was pretty unique, creative, and interesting. Not stellar but a pleasant watch. She drugs vacationers at a retreat with magic mushrooms to help deal with conflicts or gaps in their lives. There is some decent acting and the premise is unique.

Wife and I watched it, and we thought the same thing, like Lost without the good parts. Like you, we may give it another try. It's not like there's anything else on broadcast TV. Nothing we've heard about, anyway.

After reading the description, I decided to pass on it. In addition to LOST, it sounds like that Saturday morning show in which Marshall, Will and Holly ended up in the Land of the Lost.

That's because the media companies are porting all their good shows to their streaming services. Streaming will soon be the way they bilk us out of more money.

Love The Boys! I enjoyed season 2 as well and look forward to season 3 after that finale teaser! Funny, dark and ultra-violent. Right up my alley.
