That is not nice, Jim.
I drove you once to Toronto airport.

I have always found it to be a dismal and witless show. It’s the same formulaic gags in every episode—characters from nostalgic 1980s pop culture property [choose one or more of the following]:
...have sex
...take drugs
...use strings of curse words
...dismember one another in bloody ways
...suffer from violent, flaming bowel movements
Once upon a time, I would have found such things hilarious, but I’m not eight years old anymore.
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883...
Well, at the beginning there was some decent satire of geek culture. They did things like the Star Wars parody of the alien guy from the Cantina scene having the worst day ever and it ending up with his arm getting cut off by Luke that were quite funny. But now, yeah, that's exactly what it is. It's lazier than those dumb "Hey. remember this movie scene??" parody movies like Epic Movie that Friedberg and Seltzer make.
I noticed Garfunkel & Oates got cancelled and I am sad. Mainly because I was not even aware they had a TV show...
Food Network decided to photocopy Shark tank. My prediction: it will be another Kitchen Casino.

I just started watching that recently and it IS pretty damn funny... in a juvenile way, of course (and I never claimed to have grown up to have a refined sense of humor). They're not always "on," but when they are, it can be pretty side-splitting!
Speaking of juvenile humor, TMZ has become a guilty pleasure of mine. Normally I frown at humor that's at someone else's expense, but these celebrity megalomaniacs ask for it... and TMZ delivers!
I love Impactical Jokes too, whether or not it's staged, I still get a pretty good a laugh. I also like The Carbonaro Effect:
anybody catch Dig yet?.. looks like it could get interesting.

Watched the entire first season of HBO's "The Leftovers" and loved it. Told my wife she should watch it... she did, and I watched it again with her. Excellent. LOVED it!

Currently watching True Detective.
Yeah, it's pretty unique! I love the stories he makes up to explain what his "victims" just saw; he's as great a bullshitter as he is a magician! I must admit though, after so many episodes, it gets a little routine and I don't watch it quite as much as I did at first.
Just finished watching the 1st season of BLOODLINE. Being a regular visitor to the Florida Keys, this was my initial interest. The wife & I really got into this after an early state of confusion. Highly recommended!

I prefer Nature to Human Nature
I love Banshee & have watched it from the jump.
My 2 favorite shows (House Of Cards & Orange Is The New Black) are both on Netflix.
Better Call Saul and a show that I initially watched out of curiosity because film actors Juliette Lewis (without her former band The Licks) and Ryan Phillippe were the stars, ABCs Secrets & Lies. IMO, those are the 2 best shows not requiring a subscription streaming service or DVDs.

The Americans and Justified are having incredible seasons.
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart
