WAYSIDE MUSIC SUMMER SALE - 15% OFF EVERYTHING! RIGHT NOW!

    summersale_billboard.jpg

WE ARE HAVING A 15% OFF SALE ON EVERYTHING IN THE STORE!

    E V E R Y T H I N G ! ! !

The sale has started NOW and will last until at least noon, E.S.T., on Tuesday, August 18.

If the sale is still rocking hard at that time, we may extend it a few days further, but no promises, folks.

There will be no new items added during the sale. Due to the sale, our regularly scheduled email will be taking a holiday and will return on August 25.

Sales tend to be crazy time here. Please do allow a few extra days beyond what it normally takes for us to ship out your order to you. Thank you!

There are items that we sell out of that can take us weeks to restock and there are items that we sell out of that we can restock in 1-3 days. IF you order things that we can re-stock in 1-3 days, we will make every attempt to restock those items before shipping your order out, in order to give you the best fill at these sale prices.

    Thanks, everyone, and happy shopping!

I'll come and buy. Seriously, some vinyl this time. I need to get that Stern album, and the Hyrrokkin. And some more too.

I'll come and buy the whole fucking enterprise, Steve, then you'll be my sorry employee!!!

Speaking of Japanese, the new Korekijinn CD is killer. I don't have the first Happy Family, though. Speaking of Happy Family, their new one is really terrific (if not as instantly gratifying as Toscco which is apparently back in print!!). It took a good 6 months to sink in, but now I enjoy it immensely.

Tough to resist a sale. Thanks to the chatter on Facebook and some long overdue purchases, I went:

    Pollen, s/t
Pulsar, Pollen (I've heard one of those damn albums and really liked it; can't remember which)
    Beardfish, The Sane Day
Agusa, Agusa 2 (total rec choice on that one; I have only vaguely heard of the band and am going in blind)
Goblin Rebirth, s/t (because fall time means Goblin time)
The new Osanna album because Osanna with Jaxon
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.

Oh gosh. Oh heck lovin' fucking dogs on fire!

That right there, man. That's an album. Flute solo in "The Bends." Preview of everything the Secret Chiefs would do on "Desert Search for Techno Allah." The bass on "Platypus"! The sludge horror comedy of the opening track. The meltdown at the end of the album.

Oh hecks in a hand! This is a fine damned album.

    Akineton Retard - Azufre
Arch Garrison - I Will Be A Pilgrim
Time of Orchids - Namesake Caution
Ashra - New Age of Earth (Mega Blowout Sale)

It was tough (was trying to stay in the $50 ballpark), but I managed a list I'm happy with.

    Steve,

I'm heading out to school on the 23rd. If I were to order my items (to the US) tomorrow, could you get them to me in time? If not, it's no problem. I'll just order them to my school address.

    Thanks.

If you apply Steve's search button in there, I'm sure he's vendoring even more pollen-related titles than just these two.

Seriously; that Beardfish 2CD is a very good Choice - arguably the only one of theirs you'll ever really need.

Aahhh... You're in for a treat completely beyond your wildest imagination. This one rages high on my top-25 of post-"classic era" progressive releases. Utterly mesmerizing stuff whose absent following ironically proves the general absence of an actual "prog community" of any vitality whatsoever.

Easy if your place is anything like Casa del Oreb. Just link music purchases to shoe purchases then get out of the way as they wind-back the conversation.

Does it matter that this waste of time is what makes a life for you?

Normally, I would say OF COURSE.

With the sale on? I don't know. That's the honest answer. I THINK SO.

Put the dates and where they go depending on the date in the customer notes section and we'll take it from there. Safest.
