I'd watch college girls play softball over soccer.

Nog's head is gonna explode when he reads this story. It has been my adventure today. It's a first world problem but it's hilarious.

I'm at my usual pub and it's wall to wall World Cup. Ok I got them to give me golf (The Travelers thing). Ok so Mexico beats Korea and soccer is over. There's a Marlins game that just started. Can we like, uh get baseball on ONE TV?. We got baseball but it wasn't the Marlins/Rockies game. I was leaving anyway so........whatever.

    It gets funnier........

So I go to another pub and it was wall to wall World Cup. Ok so Germany beats Sweden? So again, I asked the bartender politely, if there was a chance they could put the Marlins game on. About 10 minutes later she tells me.........no one knows what channel it's on so basically tuff shit. I paid for my beer and said goodbye. I walked out in disgust.

I am currently watching my baseball game in yet another pub...... I have got my baseball game on front of me finally.

The Germany - Sweden game was fantastic, loads of action, loads of excitement, I could hardly contain myself.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

This is kinda funny. I asked for golf and got it. But then all these Colombians showed up and I offered to change golf to soccer.

Not if he ever wants to win another championship.

The problem is that he doesn't have the time left in his career to let the Cavs fix their hideous roster, and he has proven that he's no GM himself.

On the other hand, he has already won a bunch of championships and could amass tons of goodwill in his home area by staying there.

On the other hand, he's the greatest player of all time in his contract year, will be loved forever in Cleveland by already bringing them a championship, and deserves to go wherever he wants.

LeBron has nothing to prove. He's won a few titles, and he is the greatest basketball player ever. He may never win another championship. Who knows?

IMO Jordan wasn't better than Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain or Bill Russell, so I can't agree.

Lebron is better than all four.

And now what everybody knew for the last 12 months has been made official: Lebron to the Lakers.

Ugh. May as well come right out and say you're done with basketball.

^ I don't really follow basketball (nor really like it if I'm honest) so I'm sure this is a stupid question but... from a purely basketball perspective, why wasn't there seemingly any thoughts about Lebron going to join the warriors during this whole free agency whirlwind thing?

Sheesh...I really don't need to watch the NBA season. What's the point? Root for a few broken legs or ACL's?

Yep. This is the problem. The league should just contract to four teams, since no more than that have any legitimate shot at doing anything.

And they said that the Sixers tanking was bad for the league.
