Real shame to see the Warriors eliminated last night. Even worse seeing Draymond Green get ejected again.

    Damn shame.

That's the second-most (after San Antonio) of any team that entered the NBA since the 1976 NBA/ABA merger.

The New Orleans Pelicans - who entered the NBA the same year as Miami (as the original Charlotte Hornets) - are still waiting for their first.

:??? I was watching in a bar with no sound from the set, but I thought I saw the ref give the heave-ho signal, and saw Draymond heading back to the locker room. Didn't notice him in the game after that, but OK.

Thanks for those stats. I'm just going on memory. I might've been thinking of Finals appearances, which I think is six total. Three championships, three losses. More than respectable, and yet this city would really lose its mind of our NFL team had a record like that in recent years.

I hope Suns brass finally learned the lesson trading away all the bench players for a superstar just doesn't work. It didn't work with Hot Rod Williams, Jason Kidd, or this time around Kevin Durant. With the entire playoff run resting squarely on KD and Devin Booker's shoulders, they were bound to get worn out. Never having an opportunity to rest while bench players are sent in.

Sixers@Celtics. I fear the Sixers a shade more than the Celts.

Think Philadelphia regrets taking Markelle Fultz instead of Jayson Tatum number 1 in 2017?

Sixers are getting blown out. 8 minutes left. An eternity.

It's worse than that. The Celtics actually had the number 1 pick that year and traded down with Philly for the number 3 pick and an extra first round pick in 2019.

No, you were right the first time. Simmons and Brown were drafted 1st and 3rd in 2016, Fultz and Tatum 1st and 3rd in 2017 (using picks that were swapped for each other).

^ You mean my memory was correct, and the email Yahoo Sports sent me this morning had it wrong? Smh. Nowadays if you don't do research before posting, you end up looking foolish.

Heat go up 2-0 on the Celtics at Boston. No I'm not bringing out the brooms yet.

Odd game called by both coaches. Neither bench played much at all. And LeBron is no spring chicken, played all but a couple of seconds. Plus the Lakers also had him bringing up the ball too. He had only 9 points in the second half vs 31 in the first. The man was gassed. And the last play called was terrible.

The Joker is a beast. The Nuggets played a great series.

I'll be rooting for the Heat, but I think The Joker will go Wild on them.

I still remember what a big story it was. When the top seed Seattle Sonics were upset by the 8 seed Nuggets. Eliminating Seattle in the first round. Mutombo was practically in tears over his team's victory.

Eek! The Celtics are back in this thing.....

I guess there's always a first time. No NBA team in a 7 game series has ever come back to win after being down 3-zip. Regardless, I don't think either team can beat Denver.

F***ing Heat. way to blow a 3-0 lead morons. no way they win in Boston Monday.

I'm really surprised the Celtics pulled it off last night despite the fact they were winning for almost all of it. It got really close at the end and I really thought the Heat were going to win. At this point I really think the Celtics have it in the bag. Since they beat the Sixers (my team obviously since I'm from PA) I'll be rooting for the nuggets. But we'll see what happens.

I agree. I personally think Tatum is a bit better than Butler anyway.

I expect the Celtics to win tomorrow. The only consolation is that we (Miami) were an 8th seed team facing the 2nd seed. We got pretty far. Proud of them.
