    NBA Basketball Thread

Watching a Cavaliers preseason game now. Vegas has installed us as the favorite, but San Antone is improved, and Golden St. should be a force too, imo.
Rather than post in that anachronistic thread again, I'm starting this one for this season's discussion.

I do believe that the Bucks, if they stay healthy, finally have a team that will be much better than Bucks fans are used to.

The Pistons will consider it a successful season if they can make the playoffs. They have a lot of young talent and Van Gundy seems to have them moving in the right direction, although everything kind of fell apart at the end of the year last year, so we'll see.....

On ESPN U, the Dan Le Bastard show is on. He's wearing a Dan Gilbert t-shirt and has CAVS #1 written on his forehead with Magic Marker. Did the fool lose a bet?

I was surprised they let Monroe walk.

    Great. About time.

I'll follow this thread but hoops season doesn't really start for me until after the Super Bowl.

Bummer. I always thought he got kind of a raw deal when he was with the Pistons. They should have given him more time IMO.

Good to see the Knicks win last night was just some crazy fluke.

This game is rockin'. Kevin Love looks like All-Star Minnesota Kevin Love in the early going this season.
Cavaliers are deeper than last year too. Wouldn't want to have Gilbert's payroll bill though.

I feel like I am in some kind of alternate universe. The Pistons are 3-0 and beat the Bulls tonight. There is no way this can last, but it is kind of fun for the moment.

And the Heat are getting the shit kicked outta them. In Miami. It's embarrassing.

Philly fans give LBJ a standing O after reaching 25,000 point plateau.

Out here in the West it's picking up right where we left off with the Dubs cruising.

Curry has been impossibly good so far, averaging 36 points per game on 57% shooting, with more than half of his field goal attempts coming from 3-point range.

Reminiscent of The Big O's averaging a triple double season!
