I'm watching the celebration on TV. A player is carrying the Cup and people are falling all over themselves to touch the cup. Is that THE CUP, or a replica for celebration purposes?
Who here would have predicted Edmonton would rally from a 3-0 deficit to come up to one goal in the 7th game. It was hardly a cakewalk for the Panthers.
What can this strange device be? When I touch it, it brings forth a sound (2112)
Paul Maurice is up on stage now. Really excited, and dropping F bombs like crazy, on our local stations. Insane.
I am pretty sure that is the cup. If you ever get to see it up close, although they keep it polished, it is full of dents and scratches as it has been through many celebrations over the years. Unless something has changed, each player gets to take it home to their hometown in the summer for a day as well.
Guentzel traded for a third round pick. Goodness....that's peanuts.

Yeah...the stories that thing could tell...

Rumors NYR is trying to make cap room by a deal for Trouba with Detroit.

It was created in 1893. As MudShark mentioned when there is no more room a band is removed and a new one added, so it is modified, but the "cup" part of it is original. We have a minor league team here in Kalamazoo and the cup has been here several times on display. It looks a lot more beat up up close.
Red Wings re-sign Patrick Kane to a 1-year deal. Everyone here seems to be happy about that.
Stamkos, Skjei, and Marchessault to Nashville are now official.

Well, yeah--TB had a chance to sign him prior to free agency opening and no other team was 'able' to do so. TO did the same with Tanev. YMMV as to whether or not that is worth a draft pick, especially in today's market where so little negotiation actually occurs with the player themselves.
