Have a good day, Bill.
Looking forward to seeing Eccentric Orbit again one of these days.
(Sorry about the misspelling, Bill; can't change the subject line.)

Atta boy, Luther!
Thanks!
You'll might be interested to know that it is also my wife Madeleine's birthday today as well. Different year, but same day for both of us. We should have gotten married on the 28th, that way I'd have a chance of remembering our wedding anniversary . Fortunately Madeleine isn't a stickler for such things.
I actually spent much of the long weekend working on new Eccentric Orbit music. I'm working on a piece based on the PK Dick novel The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch. It's in three parts (obviously), but each of the major sections will be introduced by a little acoustic "interlude" that will appear earlier on the album. Then each section will be "electrified" for the main part and expanded, and the three themes will be wrapped together, possibly culminating in a fourth movement that combines all three themes. The second part (The Jensen Eyes) I'm going to try to base on a Serbian folk song I heard at a festival in Boston over the summer. So far I like what I've got down for Part I - The Mechanical Arm. It's a bit of a departure for EO, very angular and somewhat dissonant. The RIO crowd will love it!
We had previously started work on another new piece of mine, and I have a third in the queue partly laid out that I've given to Tom to be "Tom-ized," and another one in the very roughest stages. So EO is alive and kicking and we hope to be doing some playing and writing in 2016.
Ciao!
Bill
Sounds cool, Bill. And happy birthday!
Happy Birthday Bill!

Happy birthday & non-anniversary, Bill (& Madeline)!
