    Arrangement or production or performance etc (you name it) on heavy covers of nonheavy songs that I've sometimes ran into on youtube, say the last few years, were often not great IMO. I guess I also don't find it a generally interesting combination. There were exceptions, for example vocalist Dan Vasc there is fairly consistently good and here are two from him that fit this thread, with great arrangement/production/performance.
