I definitely will, thanks. I've been checking out a group called Adzido, whom performs music from many African countries, and to my inexperienced ear they do a bang-up job. They have a bunch of albums (CDs), some of which seem to be OOP. I've been sort of obsessed with all things Africa, and watched an outstanding documentary series on Netflix called Wildest Africa. Its beautifully done.

Just listened to Proverb after reading a chapter in Richard Powers' novel Orfeo in which the "hero" of the story sits in a café and hears this piece in the room. He then begins to describe the complete piece, which he knows very well as he's also a composer.

"Different Trains" is probably my the favourite Steve Reich composition. I wrote review of album Different Trains / Electric Counterpoint: https://pienemmatpurot.com/review-st...terpoint-1989/

Dig him. My middle school orchestra teacher had us playing Reich and Philip Glass.
