27 unanswered points. Impressive. There's still another half to play.

The ND QBs are blowing up like a toad.
Jeezus, Okmulgee's belting TCU too. Wild night in CFB.
Iowa may have pissed off OSU, but the Buckeyes pissed off much of their fan base, me included. Goddamn what a horrid fucking game. Personally, I'm of the opinion they don't deserve to be in the B1G final. I almost hope they lose to TTUN; it would serve them right. If they do win out I hope they get their ass chewed by the Badgers.

The Badgers could not possibly have gotten much more help today.
GO CANES!!!

Only 4 undefeated teams left. Another crazy football day.
Miami ranked 3. More than respectable. I hope they don't look passed the next two teams to Clemson.
Latest CFP ranking:
1 University of Alabama 10-0
2 Clemson University 9-1
3 University of Miami 9-0
4 University of Oklahoma 9-1
5 University of Wisconsin 10-0
6 Auburn University 8-2
7 University of Georgia 9-1
8 University of Notre Dame 8-2
9 Ohio State University 8-2
10 Penn State University 8-2
11 University of Southern California 9-2
12 Texas Christian University 8-2
13 Oklahoma State University 8-2
14 Washington State University 9-2
15 University of Central Florida 9-0
16 Mississippi State University 7-3
17 Michigan State University 7-3
18 University of Washington 8-2

22 Stanford University 7-3
23 Northwestern University 7-3
24 University of Michigan 8-2
25 Boise State University 8-2
Well, there ya go, Geeze. As long as the Badgers keep winning, they're a shoe-in for the playoffs. And at this point, I gotta start rooting for the B1G.
Go Badgers!

Nightmare scenario for the Big 10.
Alabama goes 12-0, then loses by a last sec FG to 1 loss Georgia for SEC Champ. Ala, 12-1; Ga 12-1 SEC Champ
Miami goes 12-0, then loses a close game or last sec FG to Clemson for ACC Champ. Mia 12-1; Clemson 12-1 ACC Champ
Oklahoma runs table, 12-1 wins Big 12 Champ.
The comm will take Ga 12-1 SEC Champ, Clemson 12-1 ACC Champ, Okla 12-1 Big 12 Champ; and either Ala or Miami at 12-1, probably Bama. Both those teams would have very tough SOS, better than Wis, and Bama gets benefit of doubt in any close case by media.
Big Ten shut out.
Wisconsin won't finish the year as one of 4 best teams in the country, no matter how much they win out by (if they were to do so). Anybody who has watched them play and is familiar with their schedule would know this.
But, they'll have the numbers behind them (and by "numbers" I don't just mean the undefeated record) to make it to 4th in the CFP, under all but a tiny sliver of scenarios, if they were to win out.
This place is like heroin. Just ask our resident Sybil the St. Louis attorney (at least in one of his multiple personalities), who is constantly needing that troll rush.

My scenario was a very reasonable, genuine and POSSIBLE scenario. I am not saying that will happen or even that I agree that it should happen--its a very possible scenario however if you have followed college football for the past few years, especially last year. Think about it--Alabama would be coming off a huge win over a very highly ranked Auburn, be 12-0 and ranked #1 in the country. If they lose a close or last second game to Georgia in SEC title game, while maybe Wisc struggles to beat a 2 loss much lower ranked Ohio St lets say in Big Ten Champ, are you going to tell me that comm will drop Alabama all the way from #1 to out of the top 4? There is a huge SEC presence on that committee, many people will believe they are one of the 4 best teams in the country even with 1 close loss to a top ranked team, and the SEC media machine (part of ESPN who controls the playoff) and Bama is a huge power influence in CFB.
Even more than that, look at last year. Ohio St was put into the playoff when 1) they did NOT win the Big Ten conference and 2) they even LOST head to head to the Big Ten Champion Penn St. Penn St was left out as Big Ten Champion. A non conference winner with 1 loss was put into the playoff. So the precedent has been set---under certain circumstances, if the playoff comm. feels that a 1 loss team who is not a conference champion is better than a conference champion, they can make it in the top 4.
For people to assume that Bama in this scenario, or Miami under similar circumstances, could not be still placed in top 4 ahead of the Big Ten conference champion means they are ignoring precedent which has already been established and have not been paying close enough attention. This is a legitimate, reasonable and genuine scenario.

Does everyone love the Who song "Cousin Kevin" like I do?
If you don't know why the hell I posted that, consider yourself lucky.
If you do, .

Shhh, you'll tip them off...lmao. My simple one sentence post above was a humorous aside and reference to the plethora of trolls around here who for some bizarre reason kept speculating that you were posting under my name and engaging in silly obsessive-compulsive name games. Those are the people who have no interest in a genuine discussion about sports or music etc. and keep diverting threads from the subject matter. Its pretty sad and pathetic.
I'm absolutely loving this repartee, boys! Keep it up!

You're forgetting a few things:
1. No, OSU was not the B1G champ but they were co-division champ w/PSU.
2. OSU's overall record was better than PSU's. OSU had one loss and PSU had two, to Pittsburgh and Michigan. Indeed, they lost to Michigan 49-10 whereas OSU beat then #3 Michigan in double OT.
3. OSU had a tougher SOS, beating #14 OK, #8 WI, #9 Nebraska, and the aforementioned #3 UM.
4. Lastly, and most importantly, while OSU was not the B1G champ, there was also not another B1G team in the playoff. If Georgia, Miami, & Oklahoma all win out, I'd wager $$ they won't put in 2 SEC or 2 ACC teams. There's the chance two teams could end up playing each other again in the CFP and they're not going to have a repeat of the SEC or ACC champ. game.
And, FWIW, personally I felt PSU should have gone to the playoff if only because they were the B1G champ.
