At the game, Cheez-Its will cost $3.99, Rold Gold Pretzels will run $5.95, peanuts are priced at $7.65, and a bottle of water will set fans back $6.95. For those looking for a more alcoholic option, “BuzzBallz” are available for $10.95, with domestic bottled beer priced at $12.65, premium bottled beer at $14.95, and premium draft beer at $16.55.

McMurphy also shared another photo from a different concession stand, showing that chips are $3.45, a Greek Dog costs $12.55, and a Specialty Dog is $12.89.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Looks like NIL and the Transfer Portal did him in. He had quite a few years left on his contract.

In that article Saban said, "we always tried to do it the right way."

Something my brother told me, that I haven't corroborated although he's usually up on all things college football, is that Alabama, and I think the SEC in general, will rescind the scholarship of a student athlete if they have a really bad or career ending injury. Apparently, the B1G doesn't do that. So AL will always have 85 players on scholarship whereas B1G teams often have less.

If true, doing it "the right way" doesn't seem entirely accurate, does it?

I don't believe Texas A&M does that, so it doesn't seem to be universal in the SEC at least. Here's an example from 2014.

They've also had numerous QBs go out with season ending injuries over the past 3 years, and none were taken off of scholarship.

I once worked with a guy who played outside linebacker with the longhorns for two seasons, (back up and situational) with a full-ride scholarship and suffered a severe knee injury. He recieved all the medical help he'd need but did lose his scholarship.
