A gentleman is defined as someone who knows how to play the accordion, and doesn't.
I think I've heard that sound before. On a bunch of George Duke albums. But she's plays the hell outta that stuff.I keep going back to this virtuoso display from Domi when I think of her.
#JazzFusion 🔥🔥🔥🔥
After New Beginnings (2017) his sophomore project was Valeriy Stepanov (Live) with songs from his debut album in live atmosphere. Now he returns with a jazz fusion album as #ValeriyStepanovFusionProject aptly titled Album №1. Valeriy had the privilege to record his new tunes with such incredible musicians as Martin Miller, Sebastian Lanser, Steven Williams, Steve Tavaglione, Альберт Степанов, Alex Hutchings, Marcus Thomas, Jerohn Garnett, and Johannes Zetterberg."#ValeriyStepanov is stepping up his game and taking the always fun and #funky Funk-Fusion genre and moving it into new realms of what is possible and pleasurable and reaches new heights of imagination and melodic majesty that puts his band clearly on Top of the Fusion world." ~ Conspiracy Realist 💯%

Pretty nice stuff.
Just found the music of this young guitarist from Israel, called Tal Arditi.
He just released a new album, called Colors. Here's the trailer:
I've put out a new track recently that maybe some of you may like!
The single (with another track) is available on Bandcamp here: https://auxiliaryphoenix.bandcamp.com/
Mastered by Bob Drake
^^ TRippy tune, and video!
"And this is the chorus.....or perhaps it's a bridge...."
Blue Touch Paper were mentioned in this thread before (and there's a review from the second album somewhere here too), but I just found this short documentairy on the first album and thought it was nice to post it.
I know Colin Towns b.t.w. especially from his soundtrack Full Circle.
Greetings,
Today marks the official release of this fantistic fusion album from guitarist Daniel Weiss:

For those who prefer a video-based introduction:
This release closely straddles the border of belonging on the "rock variety" thread, but the jazz elements are probably just a bit stronger. Highly recommended and certainly worth checking out IMO.
Cheers,
Alan
^ Thanks for the heads up, Alan. Sounds interesting! I've put it on my wishlist.
For a blast of old-school fusion - complete with cosmic song titles and philosophies - try Cameron Graves's Seven. Graves loves rock and metal, as may be guessed by one look at him, but he's a veteran of Kamasi Washington's and Stanley Clarke's bands, and has serious jazz chops. Unusually for a fusioneer, he plays only piano in this band - I suspect that he uses the keyboard you see in the video only because of the feedback problems with a miked grand in a high-volume band. These guys strike me as a sort of West Coast equivalent to Dan Weiss's Starebaby.
Excellent 5 disc set I picked up recently.
Golden Mean, a band from London, England, played live at the 5dB Canteen on May 10, 2023. A snippet of a live-streamed lunchtime gig series that enables artists to provide a catered lunch for their preferred guests at the 5dB Canteen, situated in W1 London.
The line-up here is Lyle Barton: synthesisers, Luke Wynter: guitar, Tom Driessler: bass, and Jamie Murray: drums.
