Iron Butterfly - Scorching beauty / Sun and steel
More or less completing my Iron Butterfly collection. I think I only miss Ball, but it can only be obtained at a price I'm not willing to pay.

So, I've never actually heard it. Does it sound at all Anderson-y?

No prog, but I recently got Karizma's "Perfect Harmony".

Also pre-ordered The Blu Nile's "A Walk Across The Rooftops" and "Hats" editions with bonus material. I have the unreleased/b-side material, but I can't wait to hear the remasters and better recordings of the rare material!

You didn't already have that one? I'm a bit disappointed at you, Ian

What can I say, I'd never even heard of it until a couple of weeks ago when Udi & Dave K (I think) were recommending it. That was good enough for me.

Can't blame you for that. They're from my country, but I hadn't heard of them either, until Dave K recommended them on PE some years ago.

They ought to be compulsory to try for everybody into avant prog. But I guess they are unknown to most potential listeners. Have you heard it yet?

I put it on my Christmas list. There's something intriguing about an album that is undiscovered.
