I was recently introduced to this video in which Devin Townsend takes on the challenge to create and record a song within a 2 hour time limit (using ProTools). I found it really interesting to get an insight in his workflow using DAW for songwriting. There's really not much new to the process if you're already a decent DAW user, but still, it's rewarding to see such a talent getting such a nice result in just 2 hours. The video is a part of a december 2015 promo campaign for drum sample provider Toontrack, but that is really kept in the background.
