If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Sooooo....not to be "that guy who is constantly going on and on about MPE and things" but I'm totally going to be "that guy who is constantly going on and on about MPE and things"

This is a really excellent price for an MPE device, especially the early bird options:

I was initially going to pass on this but decided to throw my coins in the pot. It might make a very cool add-on to the band rig with my Hydrasynth.

Interesting stuff. I like their wind-controller as well.

I *almost* sprang for their last Kickstarter, a very cool physical modeling synth that had the same tech as the Loom integrated into the device.

Wow, that looks very cool. I've been told I'm not to spend any money for a couple months, lol.

Dammit. Stop spending my money that I haven't made yet!
Looks like I missed out on the early bird for the extra savings.
Just have to decide on 2 or 3 octave for about $120 diff. Only 6" length diff btw them.
They've already met goal, so thats very cool. Sept delivery.

Yep, I went for the 3-octave as well. It even includes the cables!

Anyone here get to play with the UB-Xa? I hear those things shipped or started to ship, but I've never actually seen a listing for one for sale, so I wonder if it's a case of hit-and-myth.

  12. #2612
I haven't...not sure I've even seen one in the wild just yet.

Just looked on Sweetwater. "Notify Me When in Stock," naturally.

So this is kind of weird and interesting...kind of reminds me of a Linnstrument but it has a slightly sleeker look (and much lower price point):

    https://www.perfectcircuit.com/intui...ts-exquis.html

Not probably for me (or likely most anyone else here, to be fair), but still kind of cool/fascinating to see the various new alternate-style controllers making their way to the market with MPE and MIDI 2.0

Along those lines...another one that is a pass for me, but very fascinating (and customizable which is very nice):

    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...ler-and-looper

I had the first version of the ERAE and returned it...it was much larger and not nearly as responsive as I was expecting. It felt more useful as a customizable drum pad device rather than a playable keyboard surface. IMHO. Still....LOOKITALLTHEFLASHYLIGHTS

The synth I've always dreamed about, comes alive at Behringer.

Yeah indeed. I still can remember seeing the original in the shopping window of the music-store in The Hague where I bought my first synthesizers. That thing made my mouth water. Later I saw it in another store in Rotterdam, where I bought some stuff on display in the shopping window, but more as a historic synthesizer, than as something for sale.

Alas they didn't use the original design, but made it more look like a MiniMoog

Interesting. I was not familiar with the original. I do like how the new one is able to tilt at different angles though.
