Thread: Synthesizer Gear Porn ;-)

Very nice!! Unhappily most of my reading these days is on AI (for my day job).
If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

Also, Ephemeral Sun: it's a thing and we like making things that might be your thing: https://ephemeralsun.bandcamp.com

I love to read, but do most reading in bed and the Bjooks books are not suited for that, to big and heavy. Currently I have a cat to take care of and I do a lot of reading there.

    For some real gear porn:

I suppose most are familiar with this, but I had to post it.

I was not familiar with TONTO. I'm not sure how I missed it but that was fascinating. When I first saw this I couldn't watch the video so I looked it up and found this interesting article: https://www.rollingstone.com/feature...-tonto-752161/

    Thanks for posting.

Steve Hillage albums - listen to those if you want to hear this synth in action.

Not a great picture, bus still some nice gear porn.

I suppose the picture is from the George Martin book: Making music.

I thought it was about Moog in general, but it is even more dedicated to one synthesizer.
I guess you know Analog Days: The Invention And Impact Of The Moog Synthesizer https://www.amazon.nl/Analog-Days-In.../dp/0674016173

I own that book. What I like about the books from Bjooks is, they are richly illustrated and hardcover. The disadventage might be, they are quite heavy. I own the following books on synthesizers:
The art of electronic music- A Keyboard book
    Andy Mackay - Electronic music
    Mark Jenkins - Analog synthesizers
    Wizoo Guide Nord Modular
    Analog days
    Synth Gems 1
Inspire the music - 50 years of Roland History
    Patch & Tweek Korg
