What's your most recent prog discovery?

Greetings, Russell - glad to know you are still active here.

I'm not aware of a DVD by Believe - I'll have to check into that. I agree that Sarhan is quite good, though I still prefer Gil's sound, even though I agree with Marek that Gil's solo album was weaker than the work he did with Szadkowski in Collage and Satellite, or even that with Believe.

There are a couple of other Polish prog bands you may with to check out - Cytrus, Exodus and Abraxas, in particular; though all the vocals are in Polish, the musicianship is first rate, and they each have some excellent albums. Another special favorite of mine is Osjan, also spelled Ossian (which they changed after discovering that there was also a Scottish band of that name), which I can best describe as sort of a Polish instrumental Dead Can Dance - really amazing stuff with some pretty incredible world instrumental work. Their original recordings can be difficult to locate - I've been trying for years - but can be downloaded from various sites. Enjoy! ;-)
