Full-disclosure: I have never been part of a prog album before, mainly because, being a singer, I am at the mercy of whomever is writing the music. I'm hoping someone here would possibly have need of a singer so that I may take part in the genre I love.

Vocally, I can go from full melodic ala Kansas, Yes & Spock's Beard, to slightly more metal ala Fates Warning and Redemption, to darker ala Porcupine Tree, Katatonia, etc. Melody is key.
