    Hi Hat Records. Legit?

I've noticed some great live releases coming out from "Hi Hat" records. Two Tony Williams Lifetime shows, for example. Yet the label seems to have no website. Anyone know anything about them?

Though with a name like that, one can't say that they weren't forewarned!

A well known NYC record store recently stocked an Anthony Braxton release on Hi Hat.Braxton contacted the owner, told him the cd was unauthorized, and requested he remove it from the bins.

According to discogs they are settled on Cyprus as part of a bigger label specialized in radio broadcasts, unofficial of course.

Although not legal, they do release albums on vinyl too.

Could be confusing, since Braxton has releases on Hat Hut!

Rather a so or so thing. Legit were they come from, not legit anywhere else.

They have a website (better their mother company has) : http://www.odmcy.com/catalog/index.php
