I've just posted about the Empire release from Cherry Red on 17 Nov. Also that day on Cherry Red is the third Downes Braide Association album, Skyscraper Souls: https://www.cherryred.co.uk/product/skyscraper-souls/ Described as taking a proggier direction but with a pop aesthetic. Guests are really interesting. As well as a Roger Dean cover, there's Tim Bowness, David Longdon and Lee Pomeroy on the prog side, but then on the pop side, The B-52's' Kate Pierson, Marc Almond and Matthew Koma (worked with the likes of Hilary Duff and Zedd), and on both sides, lots of Andy Partridge. CORRECTION: No Pomeroy on the album. Bass by Andy Hodge.
