    Headphone reco's

It's got to that time when I need to replace my headphones, looking for something over ear, sound dampening and comfortable for long periods. Ideally less than $300. I've had good experiences with Sennheiser & Audio Technica historically.

I really like my Sennheiser Momentums They're more on-ear than over ear (unless you have small ears like me). They are noise isolating. They're about $350 CAD so most likely under $300 USD.

    Much info here https://thewirecutter.com/electronics/headphones/
Personally I don't care for headphones, too warm if sealed and even warm if 'open'.
Just me. I do like the sound, just not the experience.

I've picked up two pair over the past year at the Goodwill Koss 4AA and Koss 4A11. I haven't used them yet but for less than $5 ea. I couldn't leave them there. With Koss if the cushion surrounds on the headphones go bad for $5 total they will ship you a new set. The one set had an extra extension coil chord with them.

Most of the headphones in that price range are "flavored" i.e. some are bass heavy and others are mid range forward. You can get reviews and recommendations from https://www.head-fi.org
