Amazing review John!
"Confusion Will Be My Epitaph"
I've really been enjoying the show from 1999 included here. The band is smoking--maybe not quite Fairfield Hall smoking, but much more rocking than I had previous given latter-day Caravan credit for.
I'm still working through the whole box, but this set is definitely a pleasant surprise and will likely remain a favorite.
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.
^^ The late 90s seems to have been a great time for Caravan live. Doug Boyle added a lot of energy and prowess. There is an amazing authorized live full-concert double CD called "Back on the Tracks" that is also on the "smoking" list. I'm surprised this did not make it into the box.
Hey, whenever you get to it, thanks for taking the time. I fully realise that when I write articles like this I'm expecting a significant time commitment from readers like your good self. So I really appreciate every single person who takes the time to read it.
Many thanks, kind sir!

Sadly the Grey and Pink remix is tucked away on a blu ray so is no good to me.
So.. The obvious question.. What do you folks think about the sound of the studio albums? I haven't had a good listen to all the discs yet, but of the ones I've listened to, I must say I prefer those 2001 remasters soundwise. I've mainly played the first five though and a couple of live ones.
Let me guess: Nucleus 12CD BBC boxset?

Hey all, there has been some issues with glitchy discs on this set. For those who bought this, does your Enshede, Holland disc play properly?
A lot of people have said the last track starts skipping during the middle of the song. My copy does indeed do this unfortunately, and i'm going to try and contact Madfish. Just would love to know if others are having the same problem.
a bit late but an extensive UnBoxing
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
Seems this is now £100 cheaper than it used to be... still a lot of dough, but considerably less.

^^^ I was quite excited to see that email from Burning Shed this morning. Definitely going to pick this one up now.

After the Montreux film that was released just after the release of the boxset, here is a new footage that just popped up (at least to my knowledge)
Billed as "Rockpalast", it seems that it is more of Marquee performance (or is it?) with again Steve Miller on keys.

Thanks. I guess Rockpalast was also presenting live-recordings from somewhere else.
