I got my annual password reset notice and now cannot stay logged in. I click the "remember me" box to no avail. I seem to recall some other hard-to-find setting to remain logged in, but can't seem to find it.
Help.

Well, at least I know I haven't lost my mind. Unless we both did.

When it looks as though I'm not logged in, I can still hit New Posts, which is how I always use the site, and it brings up the list of new posts and shows Welcome, Dave (in MA) up at the top. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Are you guys making sure that you are going to the https:// site?
Brian Dennehy: "I'm now 80 and I'm just another actor and that's fine with me. I've had a hell of a ride," ... "I have a nice house. I haven't got a palace, a mansion, but a pretty nice, comfortable home. I've raised a bunch of kids and sent them all to school, and they're all doing well. All the people that are close to me are reasonably healthy and happy. Listen, that's as much as anybody can hope for in life."
I have always lost the login-status after some hours, usually when I just let the PC rest, but sometimes suddenly for no reason.
The funny thing is that the 'new post' options stille keep track of my history, though I can't post.
Changing my password yesterday has not done any difference.
I dunno. I go to the address bar and type 'p' and Chrome fills it in because this is the site starting with 'p' that I visit most often. Chrome hides the protocol. If I can then hit New Posts and get what I want, I'm happy.
Edit: Here we go. I went to my browser history and searched for http://www.progressiveears.org and deleted everything, and then came back in through https://www.progressiveears.org. Now it works as you'd expect. Now I just have to wait until it becomes my most-used 'p' site in Chrome again.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?
There are only 10 types of people in the World, those who understand binary and those that don't.
I'm one of the 212.
I'm also seeing serious issues....when I click on New Posts, the top 22 posts contain not a single Yes thread.

My problem as well for the last few days. https:// site in Firefox.
Is the SSL cert new? That's it; It's confusing the browsers. If I go to my frequently visited in Safari, it takes me to the unsecure URL. If I go to my history, it takes me to the recently visited secure one and I'm still logged in.

I just cleared my Cache and nothing changed. I'm still being driven tot he unsecure site.
Can't you guys put a redirect in place?

I took care of the https thing a while ago, but indeed the forced password change of two days ago made me lose the constant connection I had from work.
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
I found a workaround. When I come back and see that I'm not still logged in, I click on the logo and gets me back in.

Same here
Compact Disk brought high fidelity to the masses and audiophiles will never forgive it for that
After you changed your Password you will be automatically redirected to the wrong URL (http instead of https).
Some Browsers tend to remember that one constantly. Just delete all stored links to PE and enter the site
again with https.
Works for me all the time. (still every now and then I end up on the wrong URL again.
