I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Wish they would come a little further south to Frownland. Hopefully some other BE's bands will make similar US treks.
Please don't ask questions, just use google.

Did you check out the Sancreed Kanon album from the Ronin Rhythm stable, Ian? - I think it's excellent, very much in the Ronin groove space, but also a bit freer instrumentally at times.

I've been hitting lot's of Dexter and Sonny recently. So amazing, both. Too many albums to name, but a few: Go, Our Man in Paris, A Swingin' Affair, One Flight Up, Rides Again, Saxophone Colossus, Way Out West, Monk and Rollins, Sonny Meets Hawk, The Bridge, and well, more. When the mood strikes, I can take in large amounts of these classic albums. I love everything about them...especially the vibe.

    A Swingin' Affair
I have the old 80s CD and it sounds superb! I hadn't listened to it in 30 years.

Great albums, all! But now I'm gonna have 'I'm An Old Cowhand' on repeat in my head all day...

Whoa, Toronto, and that's a great venue (I saw The Messthetics there). A lot of Big Ears bands are swinging by this area. Life is good.

Great old video from the mid 80s. 1:24 minutes. Starts off with Chick practicing the Goldberg Variations. Also includes a trio with John Patitucci, and Tom Brechtlein on drums.

^ I saw Potter back in the 90s in the city when he played with the Mingus Big Band at The Fez under Time Cafe on Thursday nights. He was even smokin' back then.

I love me some Circuits trio. The drums and keyboards are killer!
