    That’ll work better than Amazon.

    Why?

No put down to Lasercd intended, but Amazon is cheaper...by $2

But no shipping charges to Prime members.

They do tend to be a bit slower to ship.

Support the independent prog retailer and label owner who has done much too support the prog scene, or give more money to Amazon?

    Easy choice.

I agree with your sentiment but it's not that easy for me. ImportCD is selling the CDs for $43, including $6.99 shipping to Canada. Other sellers a signitificantly higher with shipping approaching $20.

I've ordered from them a lot with usually good results but there have been a couple of not-so-great experiences. Approach with caution.

I use them quite often. Be wary of older releases "on backorder". It might take a month....then they refund the money to you. Yes, on occasion they cannot find an older release but they Always make good at refunding my money.

Oh yeah. I should’ve noted it’s not a choice for me.

I used Import CD (via Amazon) before and will again in the future for any number of reasons. When I have the option, I buy directly from a band (usually via Bandcamp) or through Wayside or Laser’s.

Any number or reasons might compel any individual to take any other course.

I’m really on the fence on this release. $50 is hard for me to part with for what looks like mostly what I already have except for the nice book style packaging. I have the bootleg LA sports arena show and played some of it the other day and didn’t really care for it. I don’t have all the Tull book release so I don’t feel bound to being a completist. Unless there’s something really good for me to pay $50 for I will most likely pass on this.

I've gotten every previous Tull box set from them with nary a slip-up, they're tough to beat on pricing for sure.

Maybe because he doesn't say one thing in this video that hasn't already been announced or speculated upon.

I’ve read everything posted and shared in this thread. That’s all. And it seems that’s what the guy in the video is sharing also. No worries.

Nice job, Lorne, and nary a mention of Martin's corpulence to be found! One thing - I'm wondering why you didn't comment on the early version of "Cheerio" that's included? I'm also wondering why they didn't save that for the Broadsword reissue? What do you think? I guess they have enough associated tracks, included in the 20th anniversary box, to sell us again with Broadsword.

I'm embarrassed to say, I still thought it was "Flyingdale Flyer!"

Your comment on the jumpsuits reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George gives the NY Yankees new, all-cotton uniforms!

Well, Martin got trim and kept it off (he's slimmer than Ian now), so he deserves to be left alone about it. Cheerio was included on this set because it was written during these sessions, although there were no lyrics yet, it's just instrumental. I actually did mention that as well as the Slipstream intro track (which I really love in all its haunting cinematic atmosphere - it would make a killer playlist intro piece), but I had to chop it down because it was already too long (and still is, but there you have it). Anyway, the instrumental Cheerio is basically as you'd expect, it's not of much consequence.

Layne - it's Flyingdale Faders. Just an FYI.

Another stellar review, Lornester. Lonestar? You're like really good and stuff. And stuff. And other stuph.

Thanks Marvin. I've just checked with Ian though, and it's actually Foil-wrapped F***ers, so I've made the correction. You learn something every day!

Weren't those ghastly coveralls just these:
    https://www.lowes.com/pd/Trimaco-XL-...ralls/50281809

My younger brother showed up in one with an [A] made out of red tape on the left upper chest one Halloween, and the guys knew what it was, but the ladies did not.
