New Asia Minor album after 40 years

New Asia Minor album out (on AMS) and a very pleasant surprise. Setrak Bakirel's fluid guitar is always present, there's a lot of flute and the vocals have a central european new wave aura (see Flue / Minimal Compact) that are enriching their anatolia Camel style. A much rewarding release.

    musically, I love it.

Less convinced by the singer's voice and pronunciation, though.
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

I never knew there was a real band called Asia Minor. That is my nickname for GTR.

I completely agree. The instrumental passages are beautiful though.

Also, by "Libration," do you think they meant "Liberation?" (In the title, "Points of Libration")

Wow 40 years between releases! Is that the longest we have seen?

Gryphon also went 40 years between Treason and ReInvention

Bubu went 40 years between Anabelas and El eco del sol.

There must be some Italian one-off groups that reunited and are at or above 40.

^^^ Yep. Celeste 1976, next album, the very appropriately titled "Il Risveglio Del Principe" in 2019.
