Tallis - In Alia Musica Spero Release date 3/12/2021

    From a Facebook Page 11/2020:

TALLIS ‘In Alia Musica Spero’ CD… bad news, but mostly good news…
The bad news is there is a delay. The good news is that it’s delayed because we are investigating some potential bonus material to add to the CD. More good news therefore, as there is more time to pre-order with your name in the ‘thank you’ credits and, if you wish, to get the CD signed by Dee.

Recorded 1978-1980, the album features Dee’s own material plus brilliantly performed interpretations of classical gems, by a host of virtuoso musicians:
Dee Palmer (Jethro Tull) - Synthesizers, Piano, Portative Pipe Organ, Vocals
John Evans (Jethro Tull) - Piano, Synthesizers
    David Bristow - Synthesizers, Piano
Bill Worral - Bass Guitar, Keyboards, Vocals
    Mickey Barker (Magnum) - Drums/ Percussion/Keyboards
    Guest performances by
John Glascock (Jethro Tull) - Bass Guitar
Robert Foster (Gryphon) - Acoustic Gtr
Gordon Giltrap - 12 String Gtr
Barry Barlow (Jethro Tull) - Drums

A superb album in its own right, this is also a fund-raiser for an even bigger project – a full orchestral recording of The Waters Edge, the ballet written by Dee, Ian Anderson and Martin Barre. It can’t happen without your support.
    Pre-order at www.anewdaymerchandise.com/apps/webstore

I did a search on PE and found no mention of this release. I Did read from Dee Palmer's website that this bands recorded output would never see the light of day.....Never say Never, I guess.

Isn't The Waters Edge ballet a concept around the War Child era? I remember bits from one of the 40th Anniversary Box sets that no recording exists of this project. Looks like he wants to raise funds to record it! Wouldn't that be cool?

I pre-ordered from Import CD before I saw this FB post....too bad, I should have gone to the new day merc. link above.
The Ice Cream Lady Wet her drawers........To see you in the Passion Playyyy eeee - I. Anderson

"It's kind of like deciding not to date a beautiful blonde anymore because she farted." - Top Cat

I was expecting to be kinda meh, but it made my nips stiffen - Jerjo

(Zamran) "that fucking thing man . . . it sits there on my wall like a broken clock " - Helix

Social Media is the "Toilet" of the Internet - Lady Gaga

There is some recording of The Waters Edge performed live. Sadly it has really awful sound quality.

Glascock and Barlow where only in the first Tallis that recorded just one track as a Demo. The album was recorded by the second Tallis lineup.
IIRC Evans only played on one track of the album.
