    Definitely not me.

I haven't been in an indoor public space without a mask since March of 2020 and wish there was a law mandating this everywhere until the pandemic is over.

    And yes, I'm vaccinated.

Also, I never said she wasn't mentally tough.

Whatever dude. You don't know what you're talking about, but that's never stopped you before.

I know perfectly well what I'm talking about and just as certainly know you are ignorant of what you speak, which has never stopped you before.

So you can read Simone Biles' mind and know the full reasons why she bowed out? Or that she could have stayed in if she had enough "mental toughness"? You are speaking only from your own experiences and know nothing about what she's had to live through.

Life is too short to spend time getting into arguments with internet forum contrarians. I'm walking away.

And I just remembered the "close thread" feature.

I might re-open it in a day or so.

I feel sorry for her replacement. Great chance for her, lots of armchair coaching.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Slow handclap for the two lads that won silver in synchronized diving. The US usually doesn't do well in these sort of "artistic" sports, even without Commie judges.

I watched the women's 3x3 basketball last night - man, that is intense. I read here that it is the largest urban team sport in the world (so what is a rural team sport). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3x3_basketball

I watched the 3X3 live last night too. I think all 3 of the US girls play in the WNBA, but one of them was a sub who just joined the team a week ago. Pretty amazing stuff.

    Love the McSweeney's article.

I have yet to see 3 x 3 basketball. Maybe I'll catch some before the Olympics is over. Strangely, I find I still have other things to do than watch TV all day.

The Match USA- The Netherlands is fine advertisement for womens football.

2-2 now. Match can go either way and goes into extra time.

I think/hope for NL. We have Miedema! she's a killer. 10 goals already in 4 matches.
