I've been loving Countdown recently...actually the first three Dans have been getting lots of airtime here. "My Old School" kills. Can't Buy a Thrill also is too damn good for their first go!I'm glad you did.
While Countdown to Ecstasy isn't near the top of my list, "Razor Boy" is one of my favorite tunes by them.

I feel like you guys might like this album which a friend turned me on to on Friday. It’s indie/psych rather than indie/folk, but similarly mellow though much more off-the-wall lyrically:
