Great stuff! The band is/was from my hometown, Medford, MA. Years ago, my daughter went to the junior prom with the keyboard player.

Their latest album features more than one keyboard player. Lainey also plays keyboards. I have their second album which is pretty good but haven't played it in a while.

What's Blue Floyd? I used to see The Machine, the Floyd tribute band, at Wetlands, and several other bands too. I assume this is some take on Floyd, blues?

It's not a cover/tribute band like Brit Floyd (which for my money is the best PF experience you're likely to have these days).

This is a bunch of guys who were in other blues-rock bands - Allen Woody and Matt Abts from Gov't Mule, Marc Ford from the Black Crowes, Johnny Neel from the Allman Bros, and Barry Oakley Jr. They got together and performed bluesy versions of Pink Floyd, in a jam/blues/rock style. About what you'd expect with their pedigrees.

The band didn't last long, since founder Allen Woody died shortly after the band's creation. There are a few live recordings though. Emphasis is on the jams.
