Mdou Moctar ' The African Jimmy Hendrix'

Mdou Moctar, The african Jimmy Hendrix- I didn't make it up. He was called that in a Dutch newspaper article.

I checked out his music and I really dig it. African Sahara Rock from Niger. Very energetic and virtuoso. I hope to see this guy play live soon.

    Anyone else digs him?

Great tracks and, as you say, worth seeing if he ever gets to play live.

Very cool. Took me a few minutes to get into the vibe but I did! Great unique style and passion in his playing. I'm in!

The new Mdou Moctar ' Funeral for Justice' totally rocks.
His heaviest and most intense record to date. The guitar hero of this day and age does not come from US or England but from Niger, Africa.
