Gong Live in Lyon December 14 1972 has been released here in the UK for Record Store Day. No timings have been given for tracks on the triple vinyl so it is hard to tell if this is the same recording as that on the cassette released by GAS some years back, or with the Giacomo CD of Continental Circus which had some tracks recorded in Lyon (including a 27-minute version of Flying Teapot). It seems Tim Blake was behind this most recent release and it will be interesting to see whether this concert turns up in the Madfish boxset planned for later this year.

It WILL turn up, remixed, and with the proper date assigned to it, not the one Tim Blake wishes it had been recorded on.

Any more updates on the box? I assume there are details that the public cannot be privied to yet, but the public is certainly interested.

Was emailing with Jonny at GAS today and he's knee deep in work. Brian A reports that the audio is mostly complete. It'll be ready when it's ready?!?

Just got the RSD Lyon triple LP, don't really understand the credits- why are there 2 drummers listed? And do I hear an uncredited Kevin Ayers on I feel so lazy?
