I agree, Hungers Teeth and Crisis In Clay are my personal favorites

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Man... I cant pick one to be my favorite. I'll just put them on in order and call the whole bloody mess an ALBUM. LOL.

I personally like Abandonship the best. That may be because it's the first one I heard and really liked it straight away, whereas Crisis and Hunger took a bit longer for me to get into. Also, I love Deborah Perry's vocals.

I still did not listen to The Quiet In Your Bones, however, it is quite difficult to go wrong with 5uu's
It is interesting to listen to the evolution/development of their music, from the beginning when they were really a full band, when turn into a trio/quartet, and Hunger's Teeth sounds, to me, like Jon Anderson singing in the most intense progressive band ever existed (I listened to that CD when came out non stop) and the music got even more experimental and intense after it kind of turn to be Dave's project with guests (if I may say so).
I still have problems (my own) in consuming digital music. I think I am getting old, but I will get this one shortly

“Remember, if it doesn't say "Cuneiform," it's not prog!” - THE Jed Levin

This is out now. I have listened to it a few times, and I am mighty impressed! I was wondering how this complex music would sound live, without overdubs and studio trickery. But the sound is good for a live recording, and the instruments are well-balanced. All the players are super virtuosos and very tight. Bob Drake gets to show how good a singer he really is while playing tricky bass lines at the same time. The repertoire is a "best of" collection from Hunger's Teeth and Crisis in Clay, a song from their first album, and a couple of Thinking Plague tunes. Like Thinking Plague's live album "Upon Both Your Houses", I think that I actually prefer the live version. It has a raw energy that you don't find in the studio albums. Fortunately, there was no crazy woman shouting "scheiße" at this concert.

MASSIVE thank you, Steve. The whole band as well for letting this GEM out the door. It has made my whole year for music. I played it twice through now. I will be playing it over and over for sure. The brutality of it all is amazing. That bass is insane! The band is killing it. Warheads is superb. Mike is raging. It's gonna be in my ears for months and months. HUnter-Gatherer sans vocals really displays the beauty of the music. My favorite tune at this moment.

Thank you. I am having a lot of fun being able to release things with no physical release that are really fun and also tremendously gratifying.
