I thought the Frost video was pretty strong.

I watched the original Pulse-DVD from Pink Floyd last Friday-evening. It's a 1994-concert released in 2005 on DVD.

Welcome to Friday night hash/prog DVD night .

I just picked up the beautiful Fear Of A Blank Planet deluxe box wet. I'm going to watch the DVD video with FOBP, Nil Recording, Live in Kohn and a documentary I might take a peak at.

I'll still have time for a second DVD. It's Marillion's This Strange Engine Weekend. I'll watch the Friday and Saturday night shows. There is a good selection of songs across their career those nights. Friday is This Strange Engine Show and the Saturday night is a cross section of songs.

I'm looking forward to some kicking back and rest and relaxation of some of my favourite music ever.

Last night watched disc one of Transatlantic Morsefest 2022. An unintended consequence of HD video is the lines on aging rockers' faces become more visible. Along with the gray in their hair.

Viewed Rush's Beyond The Lighted Stage

quite moving for the Torontonian I was

My French-speaking high school was borderline Willowdale (York mills and Leslie)

Didn't watch the whole dinner thing (too long), but plenty to smile about. these guys still got loaded regularly and managed a lo,g career.
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.

    Happy Friday!!
SI don't think I've Transatlantic or Rush shows. I assume they're both official releases?

In the spirit of in depth reading on Supertramp this week, I'm playing Supertramp's Blu Ray DVD of Live in Paris 79. This is from their legendary Breakfast In America Tour. I like BIA but I'm much prefer their earlier material. This DVD is surrounded by some controversary with objections from band members. The set list is pretty stellar though. Saw this tour in Ottawa on a warm summer night - will never forget this show. I'm going to settle down with and this great show.
I also have an unofficial PAL shows (2) from 1977 Supertramp I may find time to watch tonight.

The Paris 79 DVD is the best concert I've seen on film in the last 5 years!! It was truly amazing musicianship and amazing music. This is when Supertramp gelled as a band. It was great to get a cross section on hits.

I'm not all that entralled by the DVD.

I'd seen Tramp on the Quietest tour, than on the BIA tour and definitely preferred the arlier show. The Paris 79 show is fine, but in some ways, since BIA is hearly may fave albums, I do think the set list is somewhat "polluted" by the BIA tracks.

I'd love to see the 77 pirate (if it is one) to relive that. Do you have a RYM or Discogs link?

I picked up Queens tour Pal DVD from Greg Walker. There are two set lists but they're much shorter than what appears on the BIA tour.

I like Pulse. I have the deluxe edition. Did you watch any videos recently?

The last two Friday-evenings not, although yesterday I watched a part of the tv-show of The Dukes Of September featuring Donal Fagen, Michael MacDonald, Boz Scaggs, Jon Herrington and others.
