Thread: Ian's Post-Avant Jazzcore Happy Hour

  1. #51
That's great Ian, that you've started doing your own program, with equally great playlists. Also good plan not to publicize the very first one - I did my very first livestream in April 2020, coming from zero knowledge of how to do a thing like that. It's a steep learning curve isn't it!

Ian, those playlists are absolutely smashing! It's great to know that at least there are still someone out there committing to vocations of the "word". People deserve a chance to hear this wonderful world of fully different dimensions in creativity. Fabulous!

Continuing to dig your show, Ian. I love how it illuminates some rather large blind spots in my listening history (e.g. Canterbury, Zeuhl, RIO) while at the same time introducing me to many artists that I might otherwise have never come across. From last week's list a particular delight was Charlie Cawood's solo album; I knew the name from Knifeworld, but nothing about him otherwise. Also, the extensive catalog of Richard Pinhas/Heldon will require some attention. Thanks for doing what you're doing!
