Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit
I saw the listing for $106 and finally caved the other day. After "all fees, taxes, discounts and driver tip" (driver tip is a mandatory charge??) it came to $116. Mine's not coming until next Friday though.
Looks like the listing is up to $129 now (and showing as out of stock). Hopefully mine gets shipped.
Always had wanted the set (especially for the loops on disc 1-3) - but waffled for awhile - until Jed posted

The all-important fondle of the still-shrink-wrapped box. But of course, the shrink-wrap soon becomes an impediment…
My copy has begun her journey…home.
I’d love one of these box sets for a reissue of the FULL My Life in the Bush of Ghosts (with the track they had to pull from the CD and later LPs), and other Fripp & Eno and related recordings. Maybe there’s not 32-disks worth of content, but Fripp and Wislon could pimp it up.
I also jumped on the sale, its a GREAT set. I really do hear a difference in the 5.1 vs atmos mixes too.

She was supposed to arrive yesterday, but today the status is:
“Delayed, not yet shipped“
F you, Bezos, you human traficker! I demand overnight delivery! Prime, my azz !
And…Amazon cancelled my order! My guess is that it just turned out they didn’t have a copy, or Eddie Jobson left a pallet of box sets out in the sun. Anyway, I ordered from DGM, still a decent price with the frequent flyer discount. Just a bit of a wait again…
Received mine from Walmart today, after a couple days delay. Their price was great, though it's now at $130.

I just paid £90 (inc £15 VAT) for it from Burning Shed. I'm still to pierce the shrink wrap, but it gives me a nice feeling to see it propped up by my bed in the mornings
^ I know exactly what you mean. It means there’s still some mystery left.
Meanwhile, DGM is taking its sweet time getting my copy shipped. At least it’ll go Priority Mail once it’s out the door, so it shouldn’t take long. Then I can see it propped on MY bed in the mornings…
The crazy and brilliant Exposure turns 45 in June! I wrote a review of the album: https://pienemmatpurot.com/review-ro...exposure-1979/

Come on Schizoid Shop! It’s been almost two weeks and no shipping!
Very enjoyable review - thank you.
The fourth edition of Exposure is still on sale at Burning Shed for those (like me) for whom the Exposures box set might be a little too much.

Re "Fripp experienced a mixture of enlightenment and nervous breakdown that led him to believe that the world would change radically by 1981. It has never been entirely clear to me what kind of upheaval Fripp was referring to, but apparently it was some kind of natural disaster combined with a complete breakdown of the economic system." I recall that he referred repeatedly to the notion that in the near future one would have to survive by becoming a "small mobile intelligent unit." It seems he was actively prepared/preparing for that eventuality.
