A busy evening at www.lazland.org your quality music review site.

We have a review of Jon Anderson & The Geeks with True. What do I think?

We have a review of French pagan folk artist, Le Garcon de l'Automne with Prelude to Farewell, another treat.

I have also on the homepage included a link to my presenter page on Progzilla Radio, which will have podcasts of all my content. News of new content to follow in the forthcoming days.

    Enjoy!

Published this evening, the third in my "Old Album, New Thoughts" series, this discussing Pink Floyd's The Wall (The Division Bell will follow next month). The premise of this series is whether my 2024 self agrees with the opinion of my younger chappy regarding classic albums. Back in the day, I thought it was the dog's bollocks. What about now?

This has been published as a podcast on Progzilla Radio at https://progzilla.com/lazland-old-al...hts-episode-1/

This and all future episodes of this series will now be published at Progzilla.

It really is rather good. I should know, I've listened to it several times now!

Very well done… this album would end up in my garbage pail if not for three (maybe four) stellar tracks that exemplify the ‘very best’ of PF. I feel the same way about it now as I did when it was released. Without The 3 tracks I speak of, this album would have been a mess, even with great musicianship

. Excellent Review, I think everyone should have a listen to your take on this. As for politics…

Many thanks, as ever. I am very pleased with this podcast.

One of the best things about the Prog Ears is the absolute absence of political debate, so I won’t comment on my thoughts here, but, suffice to say, I hope the views expressed do lead to thought and debate.

I went to the show a bit late but noticed you were cut off by Technical problems. Hope to catch it later on Lazland . Shit Happens. Frustrating I know.

yes, apologies. It was on at 8.00 p.m. as Charles said, thanks to the regular Sunday night presenter allowing me to release my show at his normal time.

I have no idea what happened, and won't find out now until Tuesday, but there will be a podcast released, hopefully tomorrow, and I shall post here when it is.

This is the second time this has happened to me, and I truly hope it will be the last. In the meantime, many thanks for the messages and thoughts.

There were again some technical issues, but the Lazland On Progzilla Radio show was eventually broadcast last night at 8.00 p.m. UK time. If you missed it, there is a repeat at midnight UK time Friday morning. There is a podcast up now for you to listen to the show at your leisure, and this is at https://progzilla.com/lazland-on-pro...dio-episode-2/

The technical issues suffered have been resolved, so hopefully nothing amiss moving forward!

On the website, we have a new album review, namely Frant1c from Anne-Claire Rallo alongside some of her Nine Shies collaborators. A deeply touching album, take yourself along to the homepage at www.lazland.org and enjoy by clicking on the relevant button.

I had a listen to the last show at Lazland. I especially enjoyed your commentary citing 'At least we can wave to each other'. Personally, I am not as optimistic, but good thoughts, nonetheless.

Thank you. I tend to think of myself as a "glass half full" type, as opposed to empty. I think the sacrifices made by the people referenced in that connections sequence this month will not be in vain, no matter how long it takes.

We are on a roll of creativity this week at www.lazland.org I am not altogether sure how I get the time, but if a slab of something 'eavy is your cup of tea, get over to the website and take a look at Past and Secrets EP, Another Day Another Time.

As ever, link is on the homepage.

The last update of what has been an exceptionally creatively busy week at www.lazland.org closes with the publication at https://progzilla.com/marillion-a-life-part-two-fugazi/ of the second part of my podcast series, Marillion - A Life (the first part is also available on my podcast page).

It is now 1984. Fugazi has been released, and I discuss this album through the lens of my life. With studio & live tracks from Marillion, there is also music from Band Aid, Rush, and Arena.
