    Happy Bandcamp Friday!

Did you hear Spotify announced that in 2024 it's no longer paying royalties on 2/3rds of the tracks on their service? In short, it's a cash grab taking money owed to indie music artists and redirecting it into the coffers of their major label owners and founder Daniel Ek, the Elon Musk of music, lol.

Therefore we especially need your support today and in the future. For the Holiday season we are continuing our tradition by having a sale. Just enter "2023holidaze" when checking out to receive a 40 percent discount on your order. The sale lasts until 1/3/2024. Consider buying or gifting a full digital discography order for massive savings!

We are also featuring our line of CDs in this message.

Buy a download or buy a CD and rip it, but control your own digital discography and don't let losers like Daniel Ek ruin indie music for the rest of us. Thanks for the support!

Howdy, all! I'm running a special CD offer through BC: my whole original CD catalog for only $25!

Not new music, but it centers around my synthwave (and strongly prog-inspired) A Very Synthy Christmas record that I released last year.

The offer includes all four of my compact disc releases, which includes:
    • A Very Synthy Christmas
    • Lullabies
    • SYNTH
    • fifty-two

The purchase also includes a digital download of A Very Synthy Christmas. And all of the albums are available for streaming on BC as well.

Anyway, hope you all enjoy the tunes!

    Purchases are available here:

Here's something a little different. M-1 Alternative were an atmospheric art-rock band with 2 early 90s CD releases (think Talk Talk...). They just put old demos from the early 80s on BC. If two kids with guitars and a drum machine could make a prog album it might sound like this...

I was going to buy a few things but fell asleep at the keyboard and missed the end of Bandcamp Friday. Didn’t get to checkout. Doh! Sorry, struggling musicians!

I'm sure the struggling musicians will be happy to hear from you anytime; you don't have to wait for a BC Friday.

The isitbandcampfriday site says the next one is in February. I also assumed it was the end, but maybe not?

Even though it isn't Bandcamp Friday, The Church of Hed had a 40%-off sale so I finally bought the last album, "Father Road." There are probably a lot of sales going on today, but hard to find out about unless you're on the mailing lists. I THINK the Church of Hed code was 2023holidaze, or holidaze2023.

A few weeks ago I added about 5 albums into my Bandcamp cart, getting ready for the next Bandcamp Friday. I go in today and it's all been wiped out. Now I have to try to figure out where I was...

I never trust carts on websites to keep anything, unless you can save them. I add albums I'm interested in to my BC wishlist and go through that list on BC Fridays.
