Somehow that logo ended up on the desks that I was sitting at in high school.

I was not aware that the original vinyl was embossed to resemble an old book. I only have the 90s CD, but the vinyl I was familiar with was pretty standard smooth cardboard.

I've seen the logo sketched on a counter at a department store and in a bathroom stall. But I've also seen King Crimson as graffiti too.

My high school had the gatefold waterfall picture painted in our cafeteria. Pretty cool for a HS cafeteria.

Back when PE had polls, CTTE was number one. One used to be able to access those polls.

Well, when I say "somehow", no--wait-- What's the statute of limitations on desk graffiti?

Why am I picturing Jon Anderson poking Steve Howe in the eyes?

Not when I was a Freshman. It was probably late sophomore or junior year when I got into Yes and then was amazed they did it.

Oh ok. Was that in the Hudson Valley? You might remember I'm originally from up there but I don't remember that in any school I went to! Lol.

No it was Fairport High School, which is a suburb of Rochester. I didn't move to the Hudson Valley until 2004. Love it here though

Close To The Edge is perhaps my favourite album of all. I wrote a long review of it: https://pienemmatpurot.com/review-ye...the-edge-1972/

I just saw this post (for the first time in a while) that I started and for a split second my mind was thinking "Cruise to the Edge." Wait a second, that hasn't been around for fifty years!

I wrote a review for it too on the progarchives website. If you look on the right side of the reviews (for non collaborators) you'll see mine under my username there which is aflowerkingcrimson.
