    Leland Sklar takes a tumble

I love Leland, who makes great videos and is of course a national treasure. He took a real hit yesterday, as show in this clip:

I'm not lazy. I just work so fast I'm always done.

Glad he's going to be OK. That's scary stuff to just pass out like that. I'd be more concerned about why that happened.

Wow, hope he gets better. Saw him perform with Lyle Lovett just a short while ago.

Nostalgia, you know, ain't what it used to be. Furthermore, they tells me, it never was.

Sorry to read it. Coincidentally, I was just listening to one of the early 70's albums by Paul Williams (the singer/songwriter) this morning and Sklar puts on a clinic of lyrical bass lines on that record.

Oh gosh, I hope he's okay.

Carrying around all that beard is a strain on him! Seriously, though, hope he's out of the hospital soon.

He has already made a follow-up video; he's out of the hospital and the hematoma has dissipated. Best wishes to him for fast healing!

Hellacious player, I wish him a speedy recovery.
